last night’s dream: i board a boat that is immersed in waves and fog and other people and we arrive at this place that my dreams often take me to that i think should be in San Francisco but is not. This time, there are campsites and a community of nice people you might find at a town in the gold country and i arrive because i’m getting married. i know i’m getting married to someone but they don’t have a name/face/are not really much of anything but just the knowing that i’m marrying them. it’s the morning of the wedding and i leave to do something but then i can’t find my way back to my campsite and i really want to find my mom. she will know where i need to go and instead i’m meeting all of these strangers and telling them i’m getting married and they seem alarmed because it must be 10:30 am or so and i’m not dressed. i really need to paint my nail so that i can shower so that i can do my hair and make up and put on my dress (this is my thought process) and then i find my mom and she has bags of groceries from Trader Joe’s and seems to be in good spirits; i’m pleased because now my life can begin!
